Qualifications:
• Degree: Master’s degree in nursing
• Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Experience: Required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a nurse practitioner
• Certification:
o Acute Care & Adult Nurse Practitioners – Certified in the specialty required by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
o Family Practice Nurse Practitioners – Certified in the specialty required by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
o Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners – Certified in the specialty required by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for the obstetric, gynecologic, and primary care to women).
o All Nurse Practitioners: Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
