Ms. Ana Maria Lecea, the President of Professional Performance Development Group, is diligent in ensuring that PPDG lives up to its mission statement and corporate core values: “I hold a deep respect for the dignity of the individual, both inside and outside the company and for their communities”
Staring in 2013, PPDG sponsored 172 employees to attend Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Attendees consisted of PPDG team members and their families, as well as teachers and administrators. While not mandatory, every corporate team member is encouraged to attend this education program to help balance work/life responsibilities.
Ms. Lecea is also active in the community and serves on several Boards of Directors for local and national non-profit organizations. She believes in economic self-determination, and has mentored 21 women-owned businesses. Ms. Lecea is currently mentoring two companies, a business owned by a disabled veteran, and another, minority owned. All of these businesses are mentored until they reach their financial goals or $1,000,000 in revenue.
Under Ms. Lecea’s leadership Professional Performance Development Group has received 60 community awards, including National Association of Women Business Owners for Innovation, San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame for Business and Finance, and San Antonio North Chamber of Commerce for Employee Relations.
Ana Maria is also a strong believer in education, especially for women. She believes that, “When you educate a woman you educate generations”. It is this ideal that led PPDG to launch the industry-first tuition discount program for any PPDG team members who want to further their career.
At Professional Performance, we’re not just committed to the health and well-being of our employees and customers, we are also committed to the health and well-being of the community. That is why volunteerism is so supported by our employees and our corporate staff.
This year we will be collecting new and gently used clothing for donation to the Vincent DePaul Society and Christmas toys for the Medina Children’s Home.
