Qualifications

Degree/Education: High School Diploma unless using qualifying degree listed:
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Technician by the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians or
- Evidence of completion of Military Psychiatric Technician training or
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work.
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (5.2.3): Psychiatric Technician Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 1-year full-time experience within the last 2 years as either a Psychiatric Technician or Mental Health Technician.
