Registered Nurse (RN)

Professional Performance Development Group is looking for a RN to serve at McGuire AFB, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited university, and a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an RN. Applicants must have at least two years of experience working as an RN in a primary care setting and be proficient in basic computer operations. As an RN on our team, you will coordinate patient care, ensure compliance with established policies and guidelines, perform physical exams, administer medications and personalized interventions, and recognize adverse signs and symptoms. Future Opportunity

Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or related field. Graduate from a college or university accredited by National
League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience: Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Primary Care setting and as identified in the
Task Order (TO). Knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in use of basic word processing, data entry and
automated medical records.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Coordinates patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Ensures compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures,
and guidelines used in the MTF. Provides care within ethical and legal boundaries.
• Performs physical exam and health histories.
• Provides health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administers medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions, such as phlebotomy, and
IV insertions/administration.
• Directs and supervises care provide by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned
personnel.
• Recognizes adverse signs and symptoms and quickly reacts to assist patients in emergency situations and provide
emergency response in accordance with MTF policies.
• Communicates and collaborates with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team
of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization

Work Hours: Monday through Friday between 0700 and 1630 with a non-billable lunch hour
